A New Mini Album

Our neighbors are moving away and we will be having a little going away party for them next week. Instead of making a card for them I made a mini album.

The cut outs on the front cover were cut out with my Cricut and the images were from the Southwest cartridge.

The inside pages are made of brown paper bags. I used scrapbook paper to cover all the surfaces. There are lots of little pockets with photo size mats in them and lots of spaces to write notes.

I did include photos that were taken when our neighbor hosted a going away party this year.

Hope they enjoy this little album as much as I enjoyed making it. Forgot how much fun they are to make and will be making more of them in the future.

Another Work Day With Friends

Today my friends Janet and Kathy G brought their card making supplies to my house and we "worked" all afternoon. They will both be returning to Minnesota and Wisconsin very soon so this will be our last work day until next January.

Today I finished a mini album that I'm giving to a friend  who's moving away. I'll show pictures of that on my next blog post.

This is one of the cards that I finished today.

The birch tree die is from Impression Obsession. The sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft. The square was cut using the Spellbinders square die.
The small pine tree stamps are from Stampin Up. Distress inks in Broken China and Sage were used.

Spring Flowers

Yesterday, I got together with two of my good friends, Janet & Judy.  We planned a card making session so we could share dies, papers and  any good card making info we've found on Pinterest and from card making classes.

It was a great day and could have only been better if I had remembered to bring my camera.

I made ten cards just like this one.

This is the first time I've had a chance to use the new Memory Box Poppy die and I love it.
